Motoring News is confidently predicting that Porsche Cars GB will be behind the entry of two 911 GT3Rs in the GTO class in 2001.
A final decision isn't likely until mid November, but Mike Jordan's Eurotech are mentioned in relation to the running of these cars. Stories that Jordan would enter four cars next year have been doing the rounds for some time. Jordan is of course behind the 2000 Championship-winning car of Mark Sumpter.
So a clear plan from TVR (six Tuscan Rs plus the Cerbera), the prospect of half a dozen Porsches plus a Viper - it just needs Marcos to hint at their plans to confirm a fantastic year two of GTO racing.
The Balfe Motorsport Esprit might fall by the wayside though, as the car is for sale. |
