Jurgen Barth is quoted in Motoring News as saying that, "There is nothing to stop our customer teams doing their own development work, but we cannot give them assistance."<BR> <BR> He also explains that it would be "uneconomic" for Porsche to develop a car to beat the Vipers, suggesting that cutomer-developed 996 twin-turbos won't be able to take on the V10s.
