There seems to be no mention of roll hoop changes in the technical regulations on the SRWC website.<BR> <BR> James Davies looked a little harder than the Editor and found that "- For cars built before 01/01/2002:<BR> If articles 15.4.2 and 15.4.3 are not complied with, except with regard to the height, cars will nevertheless be accepted."<BR> <BR> Articles 15.4.2 and 15.4.3 specify that the roll hoop has to be symmetric, have a minimum width, height, diagonal bracing, etc., basically all the features of a full-width hoop.<BR> <BR> So it appears that at least for this year, they will allow single hoop cars to compete as long as the roll-over structure has passed the FIA load test. <BR> <BR> </FONT></TD></TR> </TABLE><BR> </CENTER> <BR><CENTER><font size="1" color="#808080" face="Tahoma">Copyright ©2000-©2023 TotalMotorSport</font></CENTER> </td> </tr> </table> </body>
