It might also open up the prospect of a repeat of the May 2000 FIA GT / ELMS fixture, but that is pure speculation at the moment.<BR> <BR> The FIA GT calendar is revealed below, with one fixture yet to be confirmed.<BR> <BR> The other interesting detail to come out of the World Council is that "an FIA Sports Car Championship will take place in 2001, subject to the approval of the Sporting Regulations by the World Motor Sport Council at its December meeting."<BR> <BR> It is left to the reader to work out which Championship will rejoice under its (second) new name in 2001.
