For 2001, he moves to the re-vamped Porsche Cup where, given his experience in the ex-supercup car, he is tipped to be a series front-runner. <BR> <BR> The Autometrics team tested extensively at Daytona International Speedway in November and again in January. Said Basil, “We had some very encouraging results and expect that the car will be competitive in the race, even against more up-to-date equipment.
