Tiff Needell will partner Adam Wilcox in one of the Brookspeed Vipers racing in the Interactive series.
Testing starts in March, well in advance of the first race on 7 May. Needell is in the unusual position of starting the season on a GT hat-trick. He won the last two races of the 2000 Privilege Championship, in the CSi-backed Lister Storm.
The team expects to take delivery of its pair of ex-Oreca Vipers in five weeks time. They are being rebuilt to 2001 specification.
Final Brookspeed news for now is that Guy De Vries has been appointed as the team’s Commercial Director. “It should be an exciting year for us,” said Martin Braybrook, who is still talking to potential candidates for the other two seats.
