To Take On BMW |
|
You can’t stop progress. At a time when Porsche customers have a car that can take on anyone in the class except the favoured ‘factory’ entries, the ‘factory’ entries will be evolving to take on the threat from BMW. Autosport are suggesting that Alex Job will be using revised cars this year, with sequential gearboxes and larger engines.
The five litre M3 for the Grand Am had the measure of the Porsches on its debut last week, and Porsche seem to be taking the view that the four litre cars from Schnitzer and BMW ares a real threat in the ALMS.
