Lister Storm Racing has announced that they will be running two, 2001 spec. Lister Storms on behalf of CSG Motorsport in the Interactive Sportscar Championship.
CSG Motorsport, a subsidiary of CSG Holdings, has taken over the Abt entry for the ISC and will be fielding the two Lister Storms in place of the original plan to run two ex DTM Audi TTs.
Nigel Greensall (above) will head up the driving strength: “I am delighted to be leading the CSG team, we are currently in final negotiations with all three other drivers and the full team line up will be announced shortly. With the pedigree of the cars, combined with the drivers’ abilities, we really are confident that we will be a leading contender”.
Laurence Pearce seems to be relishing the season ahead. “As in every Championship we enter, we will supporting this one 100%. Having won the FIA GT, British GT1 and GT2, we would like to add this one to our records.”
There will be five Listers running altogether this season; the two ISC cars, one in the Privilege Championship and the two FIA GT Championship entries. The ISC chassis are the 2000 Privilege car driven by David Warnock (in the bulk of the races) and the 2000 Spanish Championship entry, both “upgraded to full 2001 spec.”
More on the ISC line-up later today.
