The indication from France two weeks ago that Chrysler were testing their new LMP with a Judd engine were correct: Olivier Beretta and Yannick Dalmas have been running with the V10 at Jerez (or Jarama?). Wet weather hampered chassis testing, and the interval to the Le Mans Test Day might start to be a concern at this rate.
180 laps were completed in two days with the Judd V10 engine in the second chassis.
The Mopar V8 is apparently being modified to become a stressed component.
Karl Wendlinger has signed to drive the Chrysler LMP, so that seems to settle the line-up in the lead car.
