Valencia Test |
Ferrari 550 Confirms Its Speed |
|
Mauro Casadei reports that the weather for the first day of the Valencia Test was dry and sunny, between 10 and 17 degrees C.
“First pole for Ferrari” were his words – acknowledging that the Rafanelli Ferrari 550 was quickest on the day with a 1:34.34, set by Emanuele Naspetti. Jamie Campbell-Walter was next with a 1:34.68 in the Lister Storm. Correction: JC-W set a 1:33.9 on the first day, and was therefore quickest.
The GLPK Viper was next with a 1:36.67, then the Racing Box Viper on 1:36.73.
More fine weather is expected tomorrow. Have we seen the best from Lister yet – or from the Ferrari? It is going to be a very interesting year.
