|
|
The KUMHO Ferrari - Porsche Challenge develops into the KUMHO Euro GT Series for 2001. Grand Touring cars of the categories B, GT2, and N-GT can take part.
A series of seven race events will be organized at venues yet to be announced, but likely to include circuits such from among Monza, Barcelona, Spa and Zolder, Brands Hatch, Silverstone and Donington Park, Assen and Zandvoort and Nurburgring, Oschersleben and Hockenheim. There will be two races at each event, with probable durations of 30 and 45 minutes.
Each driver completes a full race and there are no pit stops. Full points for the title will be awarded for each race. The team or driver with the highest number of points will be the KUMHO European GT Champion.
Hospitality and catering facilities, run by a permanent staff, are present at all KUMHO races.
The KUMHO Euro GT Series is promoted by FP Competition of The Netherlands, who have also been responsible for the KUMHO Ferrari - Porsche Challenge. |
