Despite the no-compromise nature of the original Ultima, the GT modifications are substantial and much important work remains outstanding.<BR> <BR> The intention is still to enter the first race, but Colin Blower advises that if they do make it, the pace of the car will not be representative - in all likelihood Saturday qualifiying may see its first run out on any track. The engine - built by Dragster specialist Geoff Bull Engines - is already in the car.
