22 year old Sam Hancock will partner Ralf Kelleners in the newly renamed Kremer Lola B98/K2001 at Barcelona, with the younger man confirmed for the whole FIA SCC season.
The deal was only confirmed yesterday, just in time for the Kremer team to head off to Spain.
"I am absolutely delighted to be making my debut in the FIA Sportscar Championship with such an illustrious team as Kremer Racing," said the former Palmer Audi Audi man. "With the deal coming together so late, it will be very much a learning curve for me in the first couple of races. My aim is to take in as much as possible and to do everthing step by step. Partnering Ralf in the team will be fantastic and I look forward to working with such a quick and established sportscar racer."
"Sam Hancock is one of the few drivers that comes as the complete package and is therefore destined for a very bright future," reckons Jonathan Palmer. |
