David Terrien and Christian Pescatori will drive the lone JMB Ferrari at Brno, as the second car was damaged in a crash at Monza and and will not be ready in time.
"I can’t wait to get to Brno," David Terrien said. "We saw the excellent potential of the car at Monza, and now I really believe we can aim for victory. We’re still limited by the engine, but if we managed to be third and climbing at Monza, the least favourable track for our car, the rest of the season looks very promising. And I love Brno – Christian and I won there last year in the Sports Racing World Cup, one of my best-ever racing memories. All the team is extremely motivated and working hard, because now we know we can win."
This isn't just typical racing driver optimism. Christian Pescatori indicated at Barcelona at the weekend that he is sure the 360 can win too. Porsche GT3Rs are being challenged on both sides of the Atlantic - actually the same side this weekend, as the BMW M3GTRs are racing the Alex Job (and others) Porsches in the ELMS at Donington Park. Pescatori ought to know about the potential of Ferraris on the track - new or old.
