Jeff Wyatt and Freddie Kinchin are reunited at Snetterton this weekend, to drive the CP Motorsport Marcos Mantis in the GTO class of the Privilege Insurance GT Championship.
"Driving partnerships are notoriously fickle in GT racing, but Freddie and I have been together, subject to sponsorship, for over a year now - we are good together!" reckons Jeff Wyatt. "Bearing in mind that we will be seriously handicapped over the weekend by virtue of the fact that most of our fellow competitors will be using far superior, and more contemporary, machinery our objective for the weekend is simple - to start and to finish. Our budget for this weekend is not big, we can't even afford to go testing on the Friday. But we just may pull off a surprise or two."
Plans are in hand to improve the Marcos Mantis, which is currently still in last year's Mantis Challenge spec. For now, it's 'run what you brung' for these two.
