Kevin Doran and Max Crawford continue to work towards solutions to their aerodynamic problems with the all new Crawford SSC2K. It seems the car generates more drag than was anticipated during the design phase.
Wind tunnel testing on revisions to the original design is due at the end of the month, with the model currently being put together. The team expects they will be at a disadvantage for at least the next several Grand Am events, but continuing refinements are in the works.
Gearbox issues seem to be behind them and Doran calls the car "solid" and the chassis is even stiffer than the Ferrari 333SP he campaigned for so many years.
