Porsche's view is that the GT class is for genuime road-going sportscars.<BR> <BR> Perhaps this is a case of a car being approved to improve the racing. Perhaps the ACO were very keen to see BMW at Le Mans this year, which just might have tempted another manufacturer to join the GT class in the 24 Hours.
