Silverstone Testing Today |

Ascari, Panoz and Cadillac were at Silverstone today, banging in the miles in the lead up to the Le Mans Test Day - although they were using the Club Circuit, not the GP track.
Harri Toivonen and Patrick Lemarie were driving the Ascari chassis (single roll hoop) that they didn't race at Donington Park. Werner Lupberger and Ben Collins were spectating.
Klaus Graf put in some good laps in the dry afternoon session in an LMP07, the other car currently in Spain for testing at Valencia.
Cadillac were present with Marc Goossens and Emmanuel Collard driving, Max Angelelli and Eric Bernard also present. Wayne Taylor is thought to have been testing a second chassis at Sebring. Cadillac representatives asked that photos of the car not be released (reasons unknown), so the above is the official photograph which was made available recently.
