Readers of EVO Magazine - and now readers of this site - have an opportunity to win exclusive VIP tickets to the Le Mans 24 Hour race.
EVO Magazine, Ricardo Vehicle Engineering and PK Sport are offering the chance to win tickets for the Le Mans 24 hour race in June for the winner and a guest, and be part of the action in the days leading up to the race.
PK Sport driver, Mike Youles, commented: “The prize package we’re offering cannot be purchased anywhere. The lucky winner will be able to watch the preparation to the race, as well as the race itself, taking part in five days of thrilling action.”
The winner will arrive in Le Mans on Wednesday June 13 (passage paid from the UK), watch the car being prepared throughout the day and talk to the drivers, and see the Qualifying during the evening.
Thursday’s plan will be the same, with Friday being a ‘free day’, offering a chance to see all the sights and sounds of Le Mans, and visit some of the attractions, such as the Le Mans Museum, packed with past winners, and the driver parade in the town centre.
"There’ll be plenty of action," anticipated Mike Youles. "The Le Mans 24 hour race is the largest circuit based motorsport event in Europe. 48 cars race for 24 hours, covering 3000 miles at an average speed of nearly 130 miles per hour.
The prize comprises transportation from the UK to Le Mans on June 13, returning Monday June 18. The winner and their guest will receive a team shirt and jacket, a team pass and accommodation with the team. The winner and their guest will also benefit from full team hospitality throughout the race, inclusion in team photography and a chance to be taken for 10 laps as a passenger in the race car at a UK circuit.
The competition is featured in the June issue of Evo Magazine, available in the UK now.
