Each will have its own points and champions, but the two series share five races: Sebring, an April 14 race in Europe at a site yet to be announced, Jarama, the Petit Le Mans, and Adelaide. It was indicated that NO race in Britain will be on the schedule as a result of F1 changes.<BR> <BR> In making the announcement, Don Panoz spoke of increasing crowds at every venue on a year-to-year basis, and a new committment by Humpy Wheeler to "supporting the Charlotte race with all of his resources." That includes replacement of the temporary chicane used in 2000 with a more proper permanent turn in 2001.
