Yvan Muller 1:42.477<BR> 2. Jason Plato 1:43.139<BR> 3. James Thompson 1:43.219<BR> 4. Phil Bennett 1:43.650<BR> <BR> The two Peugeots were next.<BR> <BR> 5. Dan Eaves 1:44.642<BR> 6. Steve Soper 1:44.793<BR> <BR> The Lexus was the last of the Touring Cars present, eighth behind the 406 T car.<BR> <BR> 8. Kurt Luby 1:46.028.<BR> <BR> Gavin Pyper (Alfa 156), Roger Moen (Peugeot 306), Simon Graves and Peter Cate (Honda Accords) headed the Production Class.<BR> <BR> Kurt Luby had an upper right rear wishbone fail in the afternoon on the Lexus, depositing him in the gravel with no further damage.<BR> <BR> Speed trap times, at least, mixed the cars up a little. Muller and Thompson were in the 119 mph bracket, Eaves, Bennett and Luby in the 118s and Plato and Soper in the 117s.<BR> <BR> Plato, Bennett, Soper and Eaves all improved in the afternoon from the Touring Cars, Soper finding the biggest improvement with a 1:43.918, only three tenths slower than Bennett's best.
