David Legangneux has spotted an item in Friday's "L'Equipe" which indicates that MG are showing signs of turning around their Le Mans project. The team apparently gathered at Magny-Cours on Tuesday, with 5 of the 6 drivers, but the arrival from UK of some electronic parts was delayed and they were only able to run for the first time on Thursday. Each car completed 50 laps, apparently without problem.
Julian Bailey has driven the car on the runway at Le Mans, but that's his only time in the car so far.
The night practice that was scheduled was cancelled, owing to heavy rain. |
