Mauro Casadei was anxious to point out that 'his' team's Rafanelli Ferraris are out there racing, while Prodrive are yet to make a public appearance on the track after a hasty withdrawal on Thursday.
"How can you have a different interpretation of those words," asked Mauro, pointing at the document that explained the Prodrive car's early departure. His point was that if the gearbox is supposed to be longitudinal, then the gears should also be so arranged. FIA staff were seen on Sunday morning taking a good look at a 550 Maranello road car, so presumably they have all the information they need to decide on all aspects of the latest 550 to arrive on the scene.
Meanwhile, Jean Todt's right hand man - Snr. Berro - is expected to attend the Zolder race this weekend with the Rafanelli team, which must be an endorsement of their 550s' performances on the track so far. |
