Benjamin Franassovici at the FIA GT Championship is happy that "the 24 hours (4 / 5 August) is really taking off, but I feel that some individuals are not aware of this great meeting opening the doors to other GT classes."
The deadline for entries is July 16, with a potential maximum of 75 cars to take part.
The eligible cars are as follows:
Group 1 - FIA GT & N-GT
Group 2 - FFSA GT & National GT's
Group 3 - LAMBORGHINI GTR SUPERTROPHY
PORSCHE CARRERA CUP
PORSCHE SUPERCUP
FERRARI 360 CHALLENGE
BMW Z3 CHALLENGE
LOTUS ELISE CUP
TVR CUP
Entry Fees:
Group 1 15 000 Swiss Francs
Group 2&3 10 000 Swiss Francs
Competitors wishing to enter cars in group 2 & 3 must submit to the
organiser and to the FIA a comprehensive tecnical dossier on their cars with their entry application.
A test day is being organised on the June 22, current format of the test
is from 9 am to 9 pm, and the cost is 15 000 French Francs = 2 300 Euros (less if 20 cars take part).
NB. The test has been extended into June 23, 9 am to 2 pm.
Is this event going to build and build and become an alternative to the regular 24 Hour festival in June?
