"I kept overtaking Porsches," was Philip Hopkins' comment after his first stint in the Quaife this year. Well you would, Philip, if you've just spun twice! But in among that action was a chase of the race winning Lister, also recovering after starting from the pit lane.
The team's reward was fourth in class, Mike Quaife never having driven at Croft before. So their season is properly under way at last, and it's a much needed GT class runner. They'll probably be watching the ISC with interest this weekend. |
