Martin Short explains why: "Rockingham is going to change the face of British Motorsport. It is the most incredible facility, and whilst there is still construction work going on, it makes all other circuits in the UK look fatally flawed, with fantastic seating, and a view of the entire oval, and 2.6 mile (Grand Prix length) infield circuit, which incorporates part of the oval."
Anticipating the first GT race, Short explains that, "We have had two very succesful tests there, and we think we have the Works Porkers rattled. We reached 147 mph...right in front of the grandstands, and were flat out through one of the oval bends at 140mph, but it took a while to get the confidence up..."
If rumours of the Tuscan R's speed at Monday's Test Day are correct, the new green snotter will be harrying those Porkers, second time out.
