3:07 a.m. – Running – Lap 412 – The #85 Porsche pulls to a stop in turn 7. Will be towed in.

3:11 a.m. – Running – Lap 415 – The second place AGT #09 Corvette pits to change a front rotor, fuel, and no driver change.

3:13 a.m. – Running – Lap 415 – The #03 Marcos Mantis pulls into the pits for fuel, tyre, oil. Driver change: Martin Shuster of Daytona Beach takes the wheel.

3:20 a.m. – Running – Lap 419 – The #66 Porsche pits for fuel and tyres, Bergmeister takes over.

3:21 a.m. – Leaders – Lap 420 – Overall - #37 Lola, #27 Dallara, #36 R&S, #3 Jaguar, #00 Porsche GT1; SRP - #37 Lola, #27 Dallara, #36 R&S; SRPII - #8 Lola, #22 Lola, #62 Kudzu; GTS - #3 Jaguar, #00 Porsche GT1, #77 Viper; GT - #66 Porsche, #68 Porsche, #44 Porsche; AGT - #82 Corvette, #09 Corvette, #46 Corvette.

3:23 a.m. – Running – Lap 421 – The #39 Porsche goes behind wall with a cooling system problem. The #30 Lola pits for tyres and fuel, Joe Field takes the wheel. The #68 Porsche also takes tyres and fuel, Nearn takes over.

3:24 a.m. –Running – Lap 421 – Third place overall #36 R&S comes in to work on headlights, loses ground on the second place #27 Dallara.

3:25 a.m. –Running- Lap 422 – Car #30 Lola comes close to hitting tyres in Turn 3 continues on. The #9 Porsche takes tyres, fuel, and Ahrle as driver.

3:31 a.m. – Running – Lap 425 – The #36 heads back onto the track. The #35 Porsche pits for fuel and tyres and a front patch. Gerry Green takes over the driving duties.

3:35 a.m. – Running – Lap 427 - #9 Porsche goes behind the wall with clutch problems.

3:40 a.m. – Running- Lap 429 – The #36 R&S taps the tyres in turn 6, continues. The leader #37 Lola stops for fuel and tyres.
